Bummer. I played mine and it was noisy, too. Shelved it in disgust, tho I may run it through the VPI RCM and try again. If you read through the reviews on Amazon, it's just one after another complaint about surface noise. Such a shame, because I'm sure CR would have like it to sound perfect. Thanks for the response.
