Wow. I don't even try to collect 60s classic rock (or jazz) on LP, with rare exceptions. They are too valuable and sought after. That's an impressive collection right there.
Good for you for paying your friend real money. I doubt a dealer would have paid any more, though retail would be a lot more, of course. I always tell friends who offer me LPs that I will let them know if any of them are valuable, but it doesn't happen often. Beatles and Dylan are typically scratched to h#ll.
