it really is a nice cartridge. It's all that the reviewers say it is...even a hyperbolic Art Dudley. It really is a major upgrade over my Denon DL-103. It sounds great on my Technics SL-1200 Mk 2. Really easy to set up.Spinning some favorites this afternoon to check it out. I Musici/ The Four Seasons, Ray Brown/Soular Energy, Magical Mystery Tour(Horzu), Taj Mahal/Oooh So Good N So Blues, and Abbey Road all sound great. This is a really musical cartridge that substantially ups the ante over the stock DL-103. The bass has a kick and a clarity that the stock cartridge lacks, and the music just moves and swings better. The midrange retains the musicality of its progenitor but with more detail, transparency, fullness, and better imaging. The highs are there, sweet and extended, and do wonders for well recorded cymbals and violins. An easy to listen to cartridge, not fatiguing at all, but hard to ignore as it's so colorful, dramatic and involving. I'll acknowledge that I just got the cartridge and set it up today. So far, though, it's love at first listen!
