I see no reason why it wouldn't sound it's best on a unipivot arm like the JMW, considering all of the adjustment parameters you have to bring out its best. I have a friend with the DL-S1, and I liked it. Of all Denon carts, the one I've liked the most is the DL-103D, provided it's on the right low mass arm. In fact, the 103D is primarily why I've decided to keep the Signet XK-50 tonearm- the combo is just killer.
