If you compare results with NO cleaning,then yeah, it does remove dirt. I have the low tech spin clean and it does a better(and neater)job.

The peel(if you get it in one try) does make a good conversation piece.

This of course, is only my experience. I read on another forum results ranging from nothing to excellent results as if it were placed in the 3k audio desk ultrasonic!
