My new audio room

Moved from New York to Bend Oregon in November but just recently set up my listening room. It's a bit smaller than my other room with a lower ceiling, but acoustics are quite good. I thought the ceiling would be a problem, but it doesn't seem so. The room is sort of an attic three steps up from the second floor. I have yet to unpack half my records.

As you can see, the turntable is placed next to my chair for easy record change- the lazy man's set up. Also I don't need a remote control for the amp ( though I have one) to change the volume. The turntable is a Rega RP6, which I love. The integrated amp is Rogue Cronus.
The speakers, newly purchased, are Golden Ear Triton Seven. These are passive speakers with no subwoofer like my previous Def tech Mythos. At first I felt the bass was not adequate but after speaking to Sandy Gross, who told me to move them closer to the rear wall , it has significantly improved. I'm quite happy with the sound.

Also, I thought perhaps corner bass traps (note the one in rear) might improve the sound. But I really haven't noticed much of a difference, so I removed them.

It's been a while since I ordered any records. Just ordered AP's RCA Gershwin, MM Idle Moments, and SC Romeo and Juliet. Will report on them soon.
