Other than reliable (which I agree with 100%), what are your expectations for the turntable that you choose?
1) What type of music do you listen to?
2) When you last had a turntable what was it?
3) What did you like about it?
4) What would you change from your old setup?
5) If price were not an object what would you buy?
6) What else is in you system?
7) How important is low bass performance?
8) How would you rate the importance of smooth high frequencies?
9) Where would you rate the importance of low level detail retrieval?
10) How important is fast transient performance (cymbal crash, snare drum, etc)?
11) Do you pay close attention to openness of the sound?
12) Rate the like/dislike of dark/bright/neutral sounding systems?
I think at least some of this stuff would help us understand where you want to be with your new rig.
