If the noise is not a pressing defect, then it is probably caused by a worn stylus.
Do you have a test record? I would recommend checking to see if your channels are reversed. Normally a worn stylus will cause left-channel noise rather than right channel noise due to lack of antiskating on old cheap turntables.
On the other hand, if it were tracked with too little tracking force and no antiskating, it might have mistracked in the right-channel only thereby causing right-channel groove damage.
