Denon DL-103R vs Ortofon Rondo Bronze

I have these two catridges, and once I got a little better at alignment (I had a lot of trouble with the Rondo at first) I decided to try them both.

The DL-103R sounded less sophisticated and a little less clear than the Rondo, but it nails the dynamics, and has an inherent richness that lets you get lost in the music. It can get exciting.

The Ortofon Rondo Bronze, is still breaking in, but sounds more accurate, and a little leaner (as in more neutral) than the Denon, and the dynamics aren't as dramatic. It's a lot more "flow" than the Denon. But it is still breaking in, we have probably about 40 hours on it, and the mfg says about 200 hours (long breakin) with the biggest changes in the last 20 hours. So we're playing before making definitive statement.

We have a Grado Sonata1 HOMI cart, too. I might press it into service, but I recall it having an amazingly rich midband, but the dynamics were not strong, and the treble and bass were rolled off. Fantastic cart of jazz, esp. vocals.

Any thoughts?
