I'm not surprised that the US Government prefers vinyl to CD. It takes them a tremendous amount of labor hours to transfer it to digital. A CD would be too simple. Our US Government is all about justifying their jobs. The longer something takes, the better!
Believe me, I've seen this in various Government programs. The only people employed or making decent money these days, work for The Government, directly or indirectly. The economy around D.C. is thriving. I wonder why. ;-)
