Just got an email from one of the big online shops saying an ORG 45 rpm reissue of Mingus Ah Um is shipping in September. Mastered by Bernie Grundman, who mastered the excellent Classic Records 45 of this album.

I already have the Classic, which is one of the best sounding records I've heard, but will be buying this ORG issue as soon as it comes out. If nothing else, it'll be less hassle, as the Classic is on four separate one-sided records.
