No, I've long understood it's purpose ... and remember ... LAST even sold a "cleaner" that was to be used before you "preserved" the LP ... as part of the process.

As stated prior, on those few LAST preserved LPs which remained consistently noisy, no amount of RCM cleaning post LAST preserve had any positive affect. Therefore, AFAIK, the noise was "locked in". Even though LAST may claim that the preservative does not "lock" in noise .. in actual practice ...
