Can anyone confirm the actual measured voltage out from the Jasmine power supply unit? The rear of the unit is marked "24V". I measure 21.8V and I think it may be too low. Not sure if this issue caused the MC section left channel failure about 10 weeks ago. I was sent a new phono section board and installed it and all seems to be functioning fine now but dynamics seem squashed.
The ebay seller is not responding to my request for more info/assistance.
When I first received the phono + power supply, all seemed "normal" for about three weeks, then distortion set in. Both channels. It sounded like lack of power so I measured and found out it was 21.8 to 22.4 volts. Then in a three-day period, the left channel faded away and died in the MC mode (MM was equal ouput in both channels but distorted).
Now that I have the new phono board installed, I want to satisfy my concern the low voltage is acceptable or not. Naturally, I don't want to go through this again.
