Sadly, it's so many years since I owned an AT-1005 that I can't remember how much the counterweight weighed.
You might be able to get an idea of the dimensions at least by looking at the documents in the Vinyl Engine's Library entry for this arm. Registration (free) is required to download.
The weight is not critical, in fact, because VTF is applied by the sliding weight on the arm tube. The counterweight just has to be heavy enough to balance out the cartridge and headshell, preferably with the weight as close to the pivots as possible. IRC, the weight was secured to the rear stub with a nylon-tipped screw, thus avoiding damage to the stub's surface.
