I have a Cardas rewired RB300. i've run the OM30 on that arm on a KD-500. I was nice.An AT 150MLX on that same setup is a wonderful combination. It is impressive if your total pf is under 150. Above that it starts to get hard and lose the rich mid bass. I've never had a 40 stylus so I can't help with that direct comparison. The Atgoes for around $325 on sale.
