??? Happiest stylus replacement.

I don't think I want to spend $349 on an OM40 stylus, but hung upon either a Kenwood KD500 w/ Pioneer PA1000 arm, or a Thorens TD160 (TP 16 arm), has anyone been happy, happy, joy, joy (Hang on Snoopy, Snoopy hang on!) with the other stylus choices?

I bought an OM10 for a review I was doing, and it proved to be a marvelous combo (and I hate Regas) on a Rega-type arm. For the last 2 months I have been humming along with my Thorens TD160. The collective "we" who have gone to battle with the TD160 think it may be the 681EEE that's causing the problem. The OM will probably end up on the Thorens, rather than the Kenwood...but who knows?

Is there a huge difference in the 30 vs. 40?

So many ways to spend, without really having the money to do so!
