For it's price - you can probably find em now for $130 or less all day (less used) it's pretty darn good - though I have not compared it to any other budget phono pre - I borrowed a PS Audio GPCH and yes - it smokes it... (will most likely settle on that one soon...) It's probably a top contender in it's price class - just a bit under the radar... They also make a two chassis unit for a bit more that also gets good reviews (though at that price - one might as well spend just a bit more and get a used PS Audio and the like...
