I built a new Wenge plinth and rebuilt the innards, including the springs, upgraded armboard, rebalancing the sub-chassis.
As mentioned below, it is tedious but not difficult. The lead shot is a pain but if you do it right you only have to do it once.
It seems like the replacement springs were about $25ea X4. I also added their groove damper mat and the upgraded dust cover. They were very helpful, and my TT works and sounds great.
