A long time ago I dated a woman who had a cabin in the woods, in the middle of nowhere. It was a great place to get away to. No stereo there, just an ancient radio on the table. After spending so much time tinkering with my system at home, I would love to go out behind the cabin and just listen to ... the woods. It was intense. The soundstage was huge! (ha ha)

Spending so much time listening to records and evaluating adjustments to the system you tend to get really sensitive to small changes to the sound. With that level of sensitivity, listening to birds and the wind in the trees could be "involving" with a great degree of "PRAT." ;-)
