Things in the Dallas area have been pretty tough as far as finding decent vinyl on the cheap. I'm a contractor so I'm traveling around town quite a bit and try to stop when I see a thrift store I haven't been in. This happened to be the case last week. Went in and dug through the pile finding the 4 Living Stereo classical pieces in very nice shape. Also found a Nora Jones CD for a buck. Was about to walk out feeling decent about my stop, when I decided to tour the $10 Boom Box/VCR aisle to see if someone accidentally sent in something worth looking at, but no luck there. They started turning off lights to signal the close of business and I started my way to the front. As I strolled through the piles of pots and pans I happened to look down and saw what appeared to be some records stuffed in a shelf with a basket on top of them. I snatched them up and proceeded to a well lit part of the store. Here is what I found in excellent condition:

2 Hendrix Albums - Polydor & Reprise Italian Imports
Deep Purple - EMI Italiana
Black Sabbath - WWA English Import

Mountain - Island English Import
Bob Dylan Planet Waves - Asylum Italian Import
Jethro Tull - Chrysalis English Import - Beautiful 18 page color gatefold
Eagles - Asylum USA

I ended up walking out with a total of 19 records and 1 CD for a grand total of $13.21

I was kind enough to return the remaining records I had no interest in, or were to scratched for my collection, to there original hiding place for the guy that put them there.
