Someone with the local recycle e-mail chain just put up his Luxman P-100 turntable with a Shure V-15V cartridge for free pickup with about 50 LPs. I just volunteered to pick them up this afternoon.
The table is in mint condition. But surprise, surprise....
In the LP pile, I found:
1/ Shure V15 Type V set up disc
2/ Nautilus Recordings Test Record
3/ MFSL Geo-Disc
4/ The Cars Heartbeat City Japanese reissue
5/ MFSL Little Feat: Waiting For Columbus
6/ MFSL Supertramp: Crime Of the Century
7/ MFSL The Beatles: Abbey Road
8/ 6-eye mono Dave Brubeck: Time Out
9/ Bunch Rollins Stones (US London label). These probably are not worth much.
10/ Several Joni Mitchell and Rickie Lee originals.
All are in mint condition. Very nice. Never thought this would happen to me!
