Hey Gief,
I got down there about 4:30 on Sat. and had the classical section to myself too. Now that I have good examples of most of the standard repertoire, I'm focusing more on British labels (EMI/Angel, Decca/London, etc.) and the Baroque era. I'm also partial to Mercury Living Presence. My personal rule is that everything I pick up must be near mint with intact sleeves (no splits & tears). So I reject a lot of good stuff, but since I already have lots of records I can afford to be choosy. Later in the sale I take another look through the whole section to find record or sleeve upgrades for albums I already have.
A big part of the fun for me is listening to these discs on equipment of the era.
I don't know of any shows in Syracuse or Binghamton but I'll keep my eyes open...
Doug E.
