I have the PL-570. Like mine yours has a Hall-effect motor and separate tonearm motor, the arm also looks very similar; yours seems to have a integrated tonearm rest where on mine it is mounted as a separate piece.
I really like the PL-570, a joy to work with (balancing arm, etc.) and having a full-automatic table to go along with my main table is something I wish I'd done long ago!
FYI, I've been inside mine and can tell you it is an engineering tour de force, simply incredible! Modular and the automatic operation related pieces are cleverly designed to be under tension when *not* in operation (e.g. no vibrations).

BTW, the "veneer", if like the 570 (and remember the 570 is a model up), is cheap film and peels of easily. My table is "nude". Shortly after I got it I started hearing a clicking sound. I was a bit of the veneer remaining under the platter that raised and was coming in contact with the platter ... I simply had to peel it off.
Getting the platter off can be a chore, just a pressure fit but boy it gets snug!
The only think I would consider changing is the tonearm wiring, at least the external run (doing the internal would be no easy task I suspect). That should give a nice sonic improvement, not that it doesn't sound good already ... mine with Ortofon 2M Red is very nice, and my "go-to" table for Classic Hard Rock!
