My Pioneer PA1000 arm wants to play the record to the right of the record. Since there's nothing there but air, it's a problem.
Too much anti-skate and one can't get the styluws to set down onto the record...or is that too little? I'm so confused.
Anyway, the teensy weight at the side, even when set on it's lowest setting, allows the arm to set down too far to the right.
It just occurred to me I could try completely removing the weight and see if the arm/cart will start at the outside edge. The idea never occurred to me, I'm a gonna try it right now!
Sheesh, why didn't I ever think of that before? It works like a charm.
Now to put that tiny weight where I'll know where it is if ever needed again! Ya learn sompin' every day!
I must be as dumb as the guy around these parts who just got arrested for stealing 500 lbs. of tomatoes. Life is stranger than fiction.
