Are you from Long Island. You heard of the The Illusion? They were a group out of Hofstra University here on Long Island New York. I have a great story about them and a Fender Bassman amp I wanted to buy but they got it by default.

If you are a Long Islander then no collection is complete without Long Island bands without The Vanilla Fudge, Billy Joel's high school band The Hassels, or the one hit wonders, Soul Survivors.All these bands used to frequent a place in Island Park called The Action House, later called Speaks.Billy Joel used to hang out at a place here in Farmingdale called Fulton Street, until he had to go to the Uptown Girl. Also Blue Oyster Cult is from here but on the north shore.
