for the SilclearFirst, I'd like to thank BobM for his review of this stuff. I purchased it based on his review, and to summarize, his review was absolutely spot-on throughtout. His review is here:

I don't want to repeat much of what he said; I applied it to two of my systems with similar effect: clearer instrumental outlines, backer backgrounds, less "fog" between instruments.
All connectors, tube pins, power cords, etc. were treated.
My bedroom system came first: Sony 7000DVD>MonarchyDIP upsampler> Bolder modded ARTDI/O>Audio Refinement Complete> Merlin TSM-M. I cleaned my system connections about 6 months ago with AudioQuest UltraConnect2 cleaner and then treated them with ProGold. The results of this process were quite positive, as is commonly reported. When I repeated the cleaning but then used Silclear, the result were much the same, but notably more apparent.
Encouraged, I treated my main rig: Wright Mod Sig. Truth/Sony 999ES SACD/dvd/cd> CP PFR Pre>PS Audio HCA2 (w/Black Gates at output)> VMPS 626Rs(auricaps, souncoat, extra damping, .99999 slver /teflon internal wiring), VMPS NOS sub. This system has higher rez than my bedroom system (also uses all silver wires and cables), and the improvement was even more readily apparent. In this system the improvement crossed over into the BobM's "WOW" category, in my book. The effect is like washing a slightly dirty window.
Overall, I can't imagine getting more sonic bang out of $40. The effect is comparable to an across the board cable upgrade, IMO.
A couple of caveats: it must be applied carefully, and with the knowledge that it is not easily "undone", and if done sloppily this material can disrupt operation by shorting out plugs, etc.
Product Weakness: Must be considered a permanent alteration to equipment; requires care in application. Product Strengths: Reduces "fog" between instruments; cleaner, clearer sound.
