I can't find a source of those LT regs but I 've got some KF50BDT from a friend ( 50uV noise LDO).The spec. sheet says they are suitable for low noise application. After 15 mins of break-in, they have a more open and relaxed sound compared to the LT1086, at the same time they are more resolving, I love them.They are in DPAK SMD package, I just use some wires to connect those legs to the holes on the PCB, no problem at all, almost a drop in replacement.
