I am wondering how much weight 3/4 maple cutting board would hold without sagging. I'm using them for a mapleshade rack clone. The amp is the only heavy piece. It weighs about 60 lbs. The rods are 1 1/8 thick, the shelves are 24 x18. 2 inch thick was way too expensive. And man is this a lot of work. Once you start using big hardware its a bitch to find thigs, like forstner bits, nuts. And nothing threads on to this stuff, very course thread. Any help before I build this thing appreciated. Thanx.
