Need remote control conflict advice

Since all my audio and video components are in two cabinets, I never used all the remotes while all the component sensors were exposed. I recently installed a Xantech remote extender and found that my older Parasound DR65 receiver (used as a premap) has command conflicts with the Sony TV, and Magnavox digital cable box. For example, the remote command for TV volume turns the Parasound on/off. The Parasound remote doesn't effect the Sony TV though.
Is there anything I can do to correct this? Is it a sensivity issue that can be adjusted? I'd like to combine all three remotes into one (looking at the Harmony) but can't until this is resolved. The Parasound is circa 1984 (and a superb preamp-tuner) and there's no info available on its remote at all...not even codes.
