Over the past little while I've done a number of tweaks to my modest system that I found on this asylum. I did user 510's mods to my Thorens 160 MKII. Thanks Steve- it sounds great. Thanks go to Jon Risch as well for his dimentions of room lenses, and his ideas on sound absorbing pannels and room treatment in general, and his cd clock sand-bagging idea (I used blue tac instead).Thanks to RichardH on the mug tweaks page- I used your idea as the nucleus of my own design for some similar stands. Thanks to John Aitken for advising us not to use expanding foam in the tubes of metal stands. Last but not least thanks to everyone in this forum for trying to make things better without spending a lot of money.
