I'm planning on getting the DIYcable Jon Risch power filter kit at some point (also will try an Ulitmate Outlet perhaps some day), but it only has four sockets. Since I'm not one to fabricate a box well (I work fine with hardwire that's prebuilt, don't have the tools to route my own metal boxes), I would use three of power filter outlets for Audible Illusions tube preamp, my Quad 63s, and the plug the four outlet DIY box into the fourth outlet in the Risch box, and use this for SACD player, turntable, DVD player and maybe the digital cable box. Any loading problems with this? Some day I will address the issue of seperating digial components (or try a decent isolation transfomer), but for now this shall be. There is only a two outlet box near the stereo, and the other closer outlet has a computer and tv on it (I have four quiet line filters in the studio apartment) There is one outlet with nothing else on its circuit, but it's across the room. I have toyed with the idea of making a couple "audiophile grade" extension cords and running them across the room, but not sure if that's a good idea. Some day I'll pay an electician for a dedicated circuit, but I'll bet here in NYC it will cost a bundle! (Plus, if the electricican can't snake the wire through the walls, I don't want them torn up!)
