I am considering replacing the inexpensive EMI filter/supressor IEC inlet with a straight forward Furutech IEC Rhodium inlet instead inside both my pre and power amp since I am using a power AC regenerator (power plant 600) and an active shielding power cord(Syngersitc research). I want to provide the amps with a purier AC signal and I am assuming that both the Power Plant and the active power cord have already done a better job of what that little filter is capable of. Am I nuts or it won't makes much of a difference as those filter are probably useless anyway?
