Removing digital cruft

Ok.. so I've been working on my system this summer, and I am finally starting to like what I hear.

The one thing that kinda irks me still is the little pops I get when playing CDs on my Sony C333ES. I also get a decent amount of 'hash' with cd playback.

This is what I think I want to do.. build a Jon Risch designed power source filter/ss from DIYCable.com. But, the tricky part is.. I want to build a JR digital filter inside of it as well. My question for the forum here is to solicit opinions on whether or not I would accomplish what I am after.

This is my current power setup:

Standard wall jack
-> Powervar 1440VA
-> Tripp-Lite ISOBAR6DBS
-> NAD C350
-> sub amp
-> phono stage
-> TT's
-> Powervar 360VA
-> Sony C333ES
-> Art DI/O (w/ Stancor PS)

Planned setup with JR Power Source:

Standard wall jack
-> Powervar 1440VA
-> Tripp-Lite ISOBAR6DBS
-> NAD C350
-> sub amp
-> JR Power Source
-> (Digital Filter Plug #1) Sony C333ES
-> phono stage
-> TT's
-> Powervar 360VA
-> Art DI/O (w/ Stancor PS)

I know people will scoff at having amps behind a iso trans, but I noticed no difference with and without (even changing plug polarity).
