I have an NAD T760 that has a +-5khz hum/squeel coming out of all speakers whenever the receiver is on, even through my fronts which go through a seperate amp. The amp itself will put out no noise when the reciever is off. I have tried hooking the reciever up to 3 different circuits in the house (using extension cords) and even moved it to the other end of the room and it does the same. This reciever has a 2 prong AC plug with no ground and no "ground" wire attachment point on the back. Can anyone give some advice as to how to ground this thing? Would a wire attached to the center screw of the outlet faceplate provide a ground? Thanks.
