I've noticed for years that you need to get the humidity up in the
50% range, especially on cold winter days. I just use a cheap unit that I've had for years. You can also boil some water on a hot plate and see if that is enough. Might take some time.Another trick on cold-dry winter days is to spray some anti-static spray on the carpet around your equipment. Then you might want to use some Nordost ECO 3 to clean all your cables. You can even dampen a soft cloth like ScottPure wipers with ECO 3 and carefully clean your turntable platter and tonearm. I don't have a static problem for several days after doing this. Never have to use the Zerostat anymore.
