I am trying to understand how passive speaker crossovers work.I kind of get the in-line stuff - inductors roll off highs, capacitors roll off lows and resistors cut the level, etc. But can anyone tell me - or send me to a good source to learn - how the inductors, capacitors and resistors that go across to signal path (+ to - without going through the driver) affect the sound? I understand the result - faster rolloff - but how does this/why does this work?
Thanks in advance...
