No sound after replacing njm4580 with opa2604!!!!

I replaced njm4580s with opa2604s both in CDP I/V and output stages. No sound. Can there be anything that makes opas not comaptible for drop-in replacement?
Elso, You seam to deal with these machines every day: it's Technics 670.
