I stuck some short (3 in) sections of foam polyethylene pipe insulation onto glass votive candle holders with epoxy and used it to elevate and position speaker wires. I'll be darned if it didn't help the clarity and general coherence a touch. Getting it away from the floor and power cords that feed the bass amps a little bit more helped quite nicely, minor in the overall scheme of life, but audible and positive in my system. Now I have to try smaller braids entirely separate. Maybe just 9 pairs per top and bottom, most of my listening is at low levels, and the primary amp doesn't have to drive bass. Tweaking on.....
