The Gates Cyclons (lead acid) are at the end of their 15 yr. standard lifespan. It uses four 2V 5AH cells for an 8V pack. I was leaning towards
using 7 nmhi D-cells to make 8.4V pack. I asked a guy at Batteries+
about it, he said that the nmhi cells only last 5 years. If that's
the case, I'll probably go with Cyclons since the pack requires
some doing to get it out. Any suggestions?
Also the Cyclons are spendy...$18. ea. cell.
