I agree with you about the IsoTek's effect on the frequency extremes. That's where I tend to notice it the most. As I mentioned, I don't remember the Ayre doing as much as the Iso, but it was a while ago, and my memories of it have faded a bit.
After a few days of listening to the Isotek, even at low volume, I'm fit for a friggin' rubber room. Glad I haven't had to burn in any components recently! :)
