Recently came across these Linear Technology LT317 / LT337 voltage regulator chips.
As I understand it they are refined, better versions of the LM317 / lm337.
Are they drop-in replacement in a given circuit? What good would it do to replace the 30 years old LM317 and LM337 in my Revox B226 with these? Worth the effort?
