If the input impedance of the load (preamp or amp) is high then you can use a small film cap. For instance, 100K load you can use a .33 and still have -3 at 5 cycles. 50K then you would need .66 and so on. I use small .33 modded Wima polyprops and they sound like Teflons....way better than any electrolytic. Right now the highest value stocked is .33 so you have to parallel them for higher capacitance. The Wima polyester caps are smaller and available at higher capacitance but don't sound as good.
