Source Selector

Hello! Greenhorn to the Asylum. Been looking through the posts and threads but don't seem to be finding what I'm looking for. Here's what I want to do. I have a 8 zone speaker selector and want to hook up 6 different stereo receivers/amplifiers to it (it allows for only one source). I have a Carver system, an NAD system, a Sony system, a Denon system, a Pioneer system and a Technics system. All have a variety of components. I would like to be able to use one system and the option of the 8 speaker zones. For instance let's say I want to listen to the NAD system and my favorite pair of Polk 5JR's and Sansui's, I'd select the source and the speakers. Of course I would never have more than one source using the speaker selector at any given time. I've found several speaker selectors that allow for up to two sources and several sets of speakers but nothing that can handle 6 sources. Seems like I could build a switch that has 6 sets of A/B speaker inputs that outputs into one that would then go into the speaker selector. Sort of like a bridge? Am I just speaking gibberish? Anyone? Thanks.
