OK, here is as far as I got. On the amp I tapped off the B+ to get about 22vdc. I injected this into the filament CT to get some bias voltage on the tubes filament circuit. I want to tap off this 22v again with a suitable resistor to get about 3.2v for a white LED indicator light. I have the white LED installed on the chassis with the short lead grounded. Next, I tried some different resistor values between the voltage tap and the LED via some alligator clips. What I got was about 1.8v with a 680 ohm resistor and then I switched to a 220 resistor and I got about the same voltage. At this point I figure my circuit is not correct as the voltage to the LED is the same no matter what the value of the resistor. Anyone have an idea what is going on with my circuit? cheers, Dak
