Ric, The diodes in the PS are in the air if I remember correctly and are pretty big, at least 3A and round. So when I replace them with with rectangular diodes of much higher quality I will be able to damp them on the sides and have higher quality diodes. A double wammy improvement. Is it your opinion as seems to be Lews that going from likely general purpose regular diodes to diodes that have huge respect for improving sound quality would be inaudible in a 13.8 3A linear PS for a dac. "Not worth the angst". Going from junk diodes to about the best is a waste of time?? Tweaker
