RE: hyper or ultra fast soft recovery with axial leads?

I use UF or Schottky types. "Hyperfast" is a term usually applied to Hexfreds. My bias is that those don't sound quite as clean as UF or Schottky types. I have no idea why, but a real EE could tell you why.
