Yamaha m-80 a speaker left channel dead

My m-80 speaker binders were so brittle and broken I decided to make a new setup. After I was all done I went to test everything and the left channel is not working only with the a speaker position.both channels work otherwise. It's only a problem with the a speaker selection. I double checked my solder joints and all are good.any ideas where to start to look.
