I agree with those who suggest that the error is minor, and if it does sound off-pitch enough to annoy you, there are any number of motor control devices now on the market. The Roadrunner seems to be de riguer, these days, but there are others. Unfortunately, these devices cost money.
Have you checked speed with an LP on the platter, record weight, and stylus at work? Each of these factors will slow the tt very slightly, and perhaps that is enough to bring it nearer to exact 33.33 rpm. Perhaps they designed for slight overspeed with no load in order to compensate for these factors.
