I just got set up my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC turntable yesterday and have found a slight speed issue. I tried playing the table along with a digital file to check if it sounded accurate and found that the table plays consistently faster. I used an app recommended on another forum for checking the turntable's RPM, which clocks at ~33.45.
I have tried reseating the belt and changing my power source, but it seems to play at a steady speed quicker than 33.
Is this ordinary? Is there a way I can fine tune the speed on this model? I can't find any instructions on Pro-Ject's site. And to be honest, I'm very new to all of this and am just unsure of what to do.
Thanks for any help you guys can offer.
