Tri-wiring effect on Magneplanar crossover ?

It's been several years since I've even used my Magnepan 2.7QR loudspeakers ,but even when I was listening to them I was never completely sure about what was the "intended" speaker wire connection with the supplied jumper clips in place.

Would I gain any advatange if I just removed the jumpers & just Tr-wired these speakers. Does doing this make how the crossover works a "non-issue"? I was thinking of using some short runs of "Anti - Cables" for this (Or maybe even something more generic).

Any suggestions as to whether this will or won't work well would be appreciated.
